Kuala Lumpur-based ProSep (Asia Pacific) Snd Bhd was originally founded in 2006 by Pure Group to establish a stronger presence in the growing Asia Pacific oil and gas market. At the time, the company was called Pure Group Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd. After the acquisition by ProSep Inc. of all of Pure Group's operations, the company changed its name to ProSep AP to better reflect the group's globally integrated operations. ProSep Inc., the parent company, has operations in Norway, the United States, Bahrain, Kuala Lumpur and Canada and supplies a wide range of traditional and proprietary process equipments.

ProSep (Asia Pacific)'s offices are located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The company offers a wide range of conventional and proprietary treatment solutions and is specialized in the supply of TEG (gas dehydration) packages, separators, fuel gas, nitrogen packages, produced water treatment and water injection packages.

ProSep's engineers have a vast collective experience and a flexible, client focused approach in developing customized, value-added process solutions. Building upon the collective knowledge of the group's global operations, ProSep (Asia Pacific) has developed proven methodologies in designing and supplying leading-edge quality process solutions for gas, oil, and water separation.

ProSep (Asia Pacific) also commercialises innovative technologies for gas sweetening, crude desalting and produced water treatment. These technologies have been installed on onshore and offshore installations around the world, including at Saudi Aramco, Pemex, BP, ConocoPhillips, Total, PTT and KOC's operations.
