ProSep wins Dragados gig in Gulf of Mexico

ProSep has baged a contract to supply a water treatment system to Dragados Offshore for a Pemex platform in the Gulf of Mexico.The company said in a statement that the system is designed to treat 800 barrels of water per day, will remove free oil from the storm water/wash water drain system.

Schlumberger utilise la technologie brevetée du traitement de l'eau de production TORR^MC de ProSep

Au courant de la semaine du 3 mai, 2010, Schlumberger a annoncé l'introduction sur le marché d'une unité de test et de traitement mobile utilisant la technologie TORR de ProSep pour le traitement de l'eau de production. Schlumberger a émis un communiqué de presse lundi dle 3 mai.

Ce nouveau système, baptisé ClearPhase, intègre la technologie de polissage de ProSep's avec la technologie de traitement de surface de Schlumberger afin de créer un système de traitement spécialement conçu pour les tests effectués sur les puits en voie de production. LeClearPhase utilise l'absorbant réutilisable breveté RPA conçu par ProSep Inc. Ce qui permet l'élimination des déchets ou éléments indésirables lors du traitement des liquides. Cet système à la fine pointe de la technologie permet d'éliminer le besoin de stockage, transport et traitement hors site des fluides de production. Ceci permet d'effectuer ce processus de façon plus efficace et moins coûteuse pour les opérations sur terre ou en mer

Designed to treat 35,000 BWPD (barrels of water per day) the CTour will retrofit an existing process to improve treatment capacity and efficiently remove dissolved hydrocarbons in produced water, allowing the producer to exceed strict overboard discharge regulations.
